Location of the Apartment
The Apartment is situated between the main shopping area of Rue d'Antibes and the Boulevard de la Croisette (sea front) just off Rue Commandante Andre.
If you are walking from the bus stop ‘Les Allees’ walk along the sea front past the Palais des Festivals et Congres, turn left at the Christian Dior shop into Rue Commandante Andre, take the first turning right at ‘Agence Internationale’ and then the first turning on the left and you are in Rue du Bateguier.
If you are walking from the train station, cross the road in front of the station at the traffic lights, turn right into Rue des Serbes and then the second left into Rue d'Antibes. Carry on walking up Rue d'Antibes until you come to Rue Commandante Andre – a turning on the right. Walk down Rue Commandante Andre and take the second turning on the left and then the first right and you are in Rue du Bateguier.
Getting to the Apartment
Taking a taxi from Nice airport (Côte d'Azur) would be an expensive option.
Buses leave Côte d'Azur airport for Cannes every half hour from outside terminal 2. As you exit the terminal 2 building turn right and you will see the bus ticket office. Single tickets are approximately 12 -14 euros via the autoroute A8 (half hour journey). Alternatively, pay on the bus. When you arrive at Cannes get off the bus at ‘Les Allees’ bus stop. When you leave Cannes for the airport the nearest bus stop is called ‘Gray d'Albion’ on Rue des Serbes outside the Gray d'Albion hotel.
Another option to get from the Côte d'Azur airport to Cannes would be to catch the shuttle bus from the airport to Nice (Ville) Railway Station and catch the train to Cannes. It is then a ten minute walk from Cannes Railway Station to the apartment.
Parking
Parking in the street at the rear of the apartment and on the sea front is free overnight (7.00pm until 8.00am) there are many underground and multi-storey car parks, but they can be expensive.
